So, in preparation for watching the Hobbit in the cinemas (which I did yesterday. I was extremely satisfied with its quality. The only dissapointment is I need to wait for the next sequel. :C) I re-watched the entire original trilogy from scratch. I was a crazy kid-fan back then, and as I grew up I wanted to chuck the story in the 'pile-which-won't-become-inspiration'. WHAT A STUPID MISTAKE. It's back in my inspiration pile again, how could I do otherwise? XD
And now that I'm older I actually understand more of the politics and specifics within the story. I also had never realised how cryptic the dialogue is! So full of mysteries and wonder. :iconwooooplz:

Anyway, Legolas used to be a favourite character of mine. Not so much anymore, but I still need to give the elf some kudos for his daring endaveours and good sense of humour. :3

Surprisingly, I used minimal drafting in these panels. I am amazed at how well they turned out....with obvious errors, of course, but I'm getting there.
I will be doing more of these comics over the next period of time; I need to practice pannelling and the comic medium for when I actually create my own work. Some will be with a lot of detail and effort, whilst others will be quick and mediocre, depending on content and what I feel like doing. Majority will probably end up in black-and-white/greyscale with only minimal colour additions.

Enjoy the silliness. :iconsocuteplz:
